The Application Process
Step 1: Application
1. Complete the Registration Form 2. Send the completed form and the student’s current school report to registrar@ficedu.org; the £100 application fee is also due at this time 3. After reviewing the application and school report, FIC will invite the student and their parents to an interview at the College; please bring the original birth certificate, proof of address and proof of academic ability 4. If the interview is successful, FIC will send the student an offer of a place
Step 2: After Acceptance
1. Return the signed acceptance letter 2. FIC will provide the fee account information for payment; a deposit of 50% of one term’s fee secures the student’s place 3. FIC will send you the remaining documents, including the medical history and consent forms, the photo consent form, the musical instrument lessons form, and details of what to bring 4. Please return signed copies of the health documents, photo consent and other forms before your child arrives
Step 3: Arriving at FIC
1. Arrange your child’s travel to the College and let the school know their arrival plans 2. If needed, transport from a local station or airport can be arranged with FIC; these extra fees are added to the account at the end of the term 3. On arrival, every new student receives an induction with the Deputy Principal, the House Mother and house staff, covering road safety, bullying and how to raise a concern
