Term Dates

Our term dates for the 2026–27 academic year are set out below, including half terms, holidays and staff professional development days, when the College is closed to students.

Whilst every attempt has been made to publish these dates accurately, the school reserves the right to change them should it be necessary to do so.

Academic Year 2026–27

Autumn Term 2026

Professional development day (closed to students): Monday 7 September 2026
Term starts: Wednesday 9 September 2026
Half term: Monday 26 October – Friday 30 October 2026
Term ends: Friday 4 December 2026
Christmas holiday: Saturday 5 December 2026 – Tuesday 5 January 2027 (4 weeks)

Please note: the boarding house will be closed from 6 December until 4 January to enable students to return home for the holiday. No students may stay in the boarding house during that time.

Spring Term 2027

Professional development day (closed to students): Monday 4 January 2027
Term starts: Wednesday 6 January 2027
Half term: Monday 15 February – Friday 19 February 2027
Term ends: Friday 26 March 2027
Easter holiday: Saturday 27 March – Sunday 11 April 2027 (2 weeks)

Summer Term 2027

Professional development day (closed to students): to be confirmed
Term starts: Monday 12 April 2027
Half term: Monday 31 May – Friday 4 June 2027
Term ends: Friday 2 July 2027
