Our approach to EAL rests on two things working together. The first is immersion: living and learning in English all day, every day, in small classes alongside British and international students. The second is structured teaching: dedicated EAL lessons, matched to each student’s level, that build the vocabulary, grammar and academic skills immersion alone cannot guarantee.

Please note: data is not available for years in which fewer than five students took examinations, as the government does not publish results for cohorts of this size. As a small college with deliberately small class sizes, this will often apply to us — our own results are published on our GCSEs & A Levels page.
