Key Stage 4 PSHE
CURRICULUM: PSHE ASSOCIATION
A programme of half-termly units across Years 10 and 11, following the PSHE Association’s Programme of Study. It covers statutory Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) alongside Economic Wellbeing and Careers, preparing students for life beyond school.
Key Stage 4 builds directly on the spiral approach established in Years 7–9: themes of wellbeing, relationships, staying safe, life online and money and careers are revisited with greater depth and maturity, with a growing emphasis on independence, informed decision-making and preparing for adulthood. Lessons draw on PSHE Association resources and Quality-Marked materials from expert partner organisations.
